About the Role:
Sentinel Security Solutions Inc is looking for a motivated and dependable Security Systems Helper Technician to join our growing team in Arroyo Grande, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the security industry, learn hands-on from experienced professionals, and build a rewarding career protecting homes and businesses.



Responsibilities:

• Assist lead technicians with the installation, wiring, and setup of security systems, cameras, and access control equipment
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling throughout residential and commercial job sites
• Mount and position security cameras, motion detectors, door/window sensors, and control panels
• Support troubleshooting and service calls for existing security system repairs and upgrades
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly handle tools and equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers on job sites and represent the company with integrity
• Complete job site documentation and assist with inventory and equipment staging

Requirements:

• Prior experience in low-voltage, electrical, or security systems installation is a plus but not required
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general construction practices
• Ability to work in various environments including attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn on the job
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check (required for security industry employment)
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
