Title: Security Systems Support Engineer
Location: Owings Mills, MD
Duration: 12-Month W2 Contract
Compensation: $50-55/HR
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders

We are seeking a Security Systems Support Engineer to support enterprise access control, video surveillance, and physical security technologies across multiple locations. This role will be responsible for system administration, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and day-to-day support of security operations.
 

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain access control and video management systems (ACS/VMS).
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate vendor support when needed.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Assist security personnel with access control, badging, surveillance, and related system support.
• Coordinate service calls, maintenance activities, and repairs with security vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during onsite service visits and system upgrades.
• Support security equipment located throughout office facilities and secured areas.
• Coordinate small projects such as adding cameras, readers, or access-controlled entry points.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise access control and video surveillance systems.
• Experience with LenelS2, Milestone, or similar security platforms is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with IP networking and Windows-based environments.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and vendor relationships.
