Security Systems Technician / Programmer
Denver, CO

Overview: We’re looking for a hands-on Security Systems Technician / Programmer to support the design, installation, and programming of integrated security solutions across commercial and mission-critical facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field but also has a strong interest in system programming, integration, and smart building technologies.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, configure, and program access control, video surveillance, and related security systems
  • Support full project lifecycle including system setup, commissioning, and client handoff
  • Work with integrated platforms that tie together security, building automation, and networked systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform upgrades, and optimize system performance
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure systems meet project goals
  • Assist with system documentation, programming standards, and ongoing service support

What You Bring
  • Experience with access control, CCTV, or integrated security systems
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and IP-based systems
  • Exposure to system programming, graphics, or software configuration is a strong plus
  • Ability to read plans, diagrams, and system layouts
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working both independently and on a team
