Job Description Summary

The Security Training Officer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, helping establish standardized training procedures and guidelines in conjunction with the Security Manager for new hire orientation and on-going departmental training.

Job Description

  • Ensure all training for new employees is scheduled and conducted according to established training department procedures and guidelines to include all net learning training.
  • Maintain a process for documenting training records on all security personnel.
  • Review protocols to plan any specific training needs.
  • Will have to be capable of attending instructor level classes to continue to provide training for all security officers.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 2 years in Security, Corrections, or like field.

Minimum Experience Preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of hospital security

Minimum Education Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License

Minimum Education Preferred

  • Associate's Degree or Multiple Certifications in Security like fields

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clean driving record
  • General Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of Investigative Procedures
  • Verbal De-escalation Techniques
  • Excellent Organizational Skills.
