Job Description

Seed Packaging and Bagging Operations Supervisor

Step into a hands-on leadership role where precision packaging meets agricultural impact. From preseason tune-ups to peak-season execution, you’ll guide a small crew to label, bag, stack, and ship seed accurately and safely—every time.

A Day in the Life

Morning starts by verifying customer bagging instructions and confirming the ink-jet labeler is dialed in. You huddle the team, reinforce safety, and assign roles on the bagging, conveyor, and palletizing stations. Between runs, you coordinate thorough cleanouts to protect product integrity. Pallets are stacked neatly, wrapped securely, and staged to the warehouse with accurate counts and paperwork. You watch quality metrics, suggest process or safety improvements, and ensure the work area stays orderly and compliant with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). When the conditioning season kicks into high gear (typically late Oct–Feb), you lead the crew through seasonal 2nd shift and overtime with steady direction and high standards.
