Position Overview
- Role: Full-Time Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
- Location: Huntsville VA Primary Clinic - Huntsville, AL
- Employment Type: Federal (Hospital Employee)
- Setting: Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC)
- Telework: Available (1 day per week)

Practice Environment

Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to a panel of Veterans
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Maintain a manageable patient load of ~10-12 patients per day
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Patient care hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Flexible 40-hour workweek with compressed schedule options
- Telework available 1 day per week
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Preferred: 2-5 years of clinical experience
- Commitment to excellence, teamwork, and Veteran-centered care
