Segment Growth Marketing Manager
Duration: 4+ months of contract with possibilities of extension and FTE

Job Duties:        
The Segment Growth Marketing Manager, focused on the Federal Government sector, sits within the Revenue & Growth Marketing team and is responsible for driving demand, pipeline growth, and market leadership for solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the Government sector (Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence, Prime Contractors & Integrators, and SLED)—including technologies, buyer personas, procurement cycles, and regulatory environments—and the ability to translate that insight into compelling messaging, content, and go-to-market programs.
Reputation (Public Sector & National Security Market Leadership)
  • Strengthen credibility, awareness, and trust across Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence, Prime Contractors & Integrators, and SLED markets.
  • Develop and execute compliance, mission-aligned messaging and thought leadership addressing resilience, security, continuity, and regulatory requirements
  • Elevate the value proposition consistently across all public-sector-facing touchpoints, including campaigns, content, events, and executive engagements.
Relationships (Government & Ecosystem Stakeholder Engagement)
  • Build and deepen strategic relationships with executives, influencers, and decision-makers across Federal, Defense, Intelligence, Integrator, and SLED customers.
  • Map buying groups, procurement stakeholders, and influence networks within priority public sector accounts.
  • Enable regional teams with government-specific engagement playbooks, executive briefing frameworks, and account-based strategies.
Revenue (Public Sector Pipeline & Growth Enablement)
  • Drive qualified pipeline and revenue growth by shaping demand and influencing opportunities across public sector segments.
  • Develop and execute segment-based growth plans aligned to government buying cycles, contract vehicles, and mission priorities.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Business Development to prioritize pursuits and accelerate deal progression with agencies and integrators.
Sales Enablement (Mission-Focused Go-to-Market Execution)
  • Equip Sales, Technical Sales, and Business Development teams with public sector-specific playbooks, personas, and AI-enabled solution messaging.
  • Deliver competitive intelligence and enablement to support pursuits with agencies, defense programs, and integrators.
  • Train teams on leveraging 6sense, Outreach, and OSC to improve engagement quality and pipeline impact.

  • Own outcomes with autonomy and accountability, driving measurable impact across pipeline creation, deal acceleration, and revenue growth for priority government segments.
  • Lead with insight and intelligence, leveraging AI, intent data, and market signals to shape demand, prioritize high-value opportunities, and inform go-to-market decisions.
  • Deliver high-impact execution, focusing on initiatives that elevate relevance, solution adoption, and market leadership while partnering closely with Sales, Solutions, and Partners.

  • Gather feedback from the field and bring insights back into enablement and marketing strategies.
 
Education:         
 
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
 
Preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree; certifications in government contracting, compliance, or technical fields (e.g., DAU, PMP, ITIL); experience with partner-led go-to-market models.
  • Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua), 6sense, and/or CRM Platform (Oracle Sales Cloud), Sprinklr, Wrike, experience a strong plus.
 
Additional requirements:
  • US Citizen
  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience supporting Federal, Defense, Intelligence, Integrators, or SLED markets.
  • Proven success marketing AI-enabled, mission-critical, or regulated solutions.
  • Experience working with prime contractors, integrators, or government ecosystem partners in joint go-to-market motions.
  • Strong understanding of government buying cycles, multi-stakeholder decision-making, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue influence.
  • Data savvy and familiarity with Oracle CRM and Power BI
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-impact role.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customers partners, and key events.
