Selector/Portioner-3

Responsibilities:

• Selects and weighs raw turkey breast pieces used to manufacture Oven Gold.
• Responsible for ensuring the selection of a 'right' and a 'left' breast piece of equal proportion as well as a third piece to achieve target weight of 9.5 lb. to 10 lb. This process involves the use of a knife to cut meat pieces as necessary to meet weight requirements.
• Must be able to perform responsibilities of Item #2 at prescribed line speeds.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with Oven Gold Packers to ensure workload is shared and finished product specifications are achieved.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
• Position requires standing in place during performance of job functions.
• Responsible for following GMP's, SOP's, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, plant rules and policies.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in room temperatures that run below 40 degrees.
• Must be willing and able to perform other job functions as needed.
