Selector
Location: Reno, NV (12663 Old Virginia Rd.)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Job Summary
The Selector is responsible for accurately picking customer orders, operating warehouse equipment, building pallets, and preparing products for shipment in a safe, fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate an electric pallet jack, reach truck, and stock picker safely
- Select and pick products from warehouse racking
- Use RF scanners and label technology to identify and label products
- Build and palletize customer orders according to company standards
- Stage completed pallets for shipping and stretch wrap loads
- Perform equipment inspections before and after each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with loading, unloading, and lumping trucks as needed
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred (training provided)
- Experience operating a reach truck, stock picker, and electric pallet jack
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, carry, and move products throughout the shift
Work Environment
- Dry warehouse (no freezer or refrigerated work)
- Large truck shipments with order picking and pallet building
- Team-oriented environment with long-tenured employees
