Location: Salem, VA
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM until completion
Pay: $20.00/hour
Contract: 90 Days (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)

Job Summary

Seeking dependable Selectors to accurately pick and prepare customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include operating a center-ride electric pallet jack, selecting products, using RF scanners, building and wrapping pallets, and staging orders for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Select and palletize products using RF scanning technology.
• Operate a center-ride electric pallet jack safely.
• Label, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment.
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Perform equipment inspections and follow warehouse procedures.
• Work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments until all orders are completed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20–80+ lbs. repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from -5°F to 100°F+.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Minimum 6 months of recent warehouse, distribution, construction, farming, fitness, or other physically demanding experience preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Order selecting in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment.
• Experience as an Order Selector, Order Picker, Order Filler, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator.
