Akkodis is seeking a Selenium Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX/ Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will design and execute automated test frameworks using Selenium and Java to ensure quality and reliability across frontend, backend, and database systems.
Rate Range: $40/Hour to $41/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Selenium Automation Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium automation frameworks using Core Java for frontend and backend testing.
Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API (Rest Assured/Karate), and database validation (JDBC/JPA).
Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity across databases like Oracle, DB2, or Snowflake.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage code repositories via Git/Bitbucket.
Collaborate with Agile teams, participate in sprint activities, and track defects using tools like JIRA and ALM.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and ensure high-quality delivery through continuous testing and improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance using Selenium and Java.
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Core Java, API automation (Rest Assured/Karate), and database testing with SQL.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Agile methodologies, and test management tools like JIRA, ALM, and Git/Bitbucket.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $41.00 per hour
