Position Overview

The Macy's Semi‑Local CDL‑A position offers consistent dedicated freight throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Drivers run a mix of drop/hook and live unload freight, including regular twice‑weekly deliveries to Boise, ID. This role provides strong weekly earnings, frequent home time, assigned automatic sleeper trucks, and a limited‑time $10,000 sign‑on bonus.

Pay & Benefits

• Average Annual Earnings: $85,995–$104,195
• Mileage Pay: $0.62–$0.66 CPM
• Annual CPM Increase: +$0.01 CPM yearly until max of $0.66
• Activity Pay:

  • $25 per drop & hook
  • $40 per doubles load
• Outsource Work: $350 per day
• Training Pay: $200/day
• Safety Training: $20/hour
• Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 (limited time; eligibility rules apply)

Job Duties

• Haul Macy's retail freight using 48'/53' box trailers and 28' pups.
• Approximately 10% doubles; doubles endorsement required within 60 days.
• Average 2,400 miles per week.
• Make Boise, ID deliveries twice weekly.
• Perform a mix of drop/hook and live unloads.
• Complete lift‑gate unloads at one location (approx. 2 times per week).
• Leave assigned truck at the account during time off.

Schedule & Home Time

• Sunday–Thursday
• 11:00 AM start
• Approx. 12‑hour workdays
• Frequent home time with ~2 layovers per week
• Optional 6th day available for extra earnings

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months CDL‑A experience
• Willing to run semi‑local with layovers
• Comfortable with 11 AM start and 12‑hour days
• Able to chain when required
• Able to perform lift‑gate unloads
• Must obtain doubles endorsement within 60 days
• Must assist other JB Hunt accounts as needed
• Assigned truck must remain at the account during time off
