    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers and diesel engines.
    • Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Inspect and test vehicle systems, including brakes, steering, and suspension.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
    • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and semi-trailer systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
