    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi trailers, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
    • Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
    • Inspect trailers for safety compliance and ensure they meet industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in trailer technology.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with semi trailers or heavy-duty vehicles.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
