    Job Description

    What your day looks like

Step onto the fab floor as the go-to expert who keeps production moving. You’ll arrive at customer sites prepared to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor tools. Before power-on, you’ll dock, level, and interconnect CMP systems, perform preventive maintenance with minimal oversight, and work through diagnostics to restore uptime fast.

    Role snapshot

    • Complete all contracted preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, consumable swaps, installations, and start-ups at customer facilities or the service center.
    • Interpret operating manuals and technical documents to pinpoint root causes of tool failures.
    • Capture accurate service documentation: PM results, downtime, issue logs, and time reports. Enter details directly into customer systems with proficiency.
    • Independently execute scheduled PMs and follow standardized service checklists and protocols to diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system issues.
    • Order and expedite replacement parts; keep customers and management informed on status and next steps.
    • Escalate design-related concerns to engineering and management to drive resolution.
    • Serve as the customer’s primary technical contact for operational and maintenance questions.
    • Under supervision, perform phase-one CMP tool installation activities (dock/level and interconnection) just prior to power-on.
    • Guide fellow field technicians and field service engineers; train and mentor Field Service Technicians I–III.
    • Assist with service center operations and support other customer locations as needed.
    • Follow Finesse training and procedures for accurate parts usage and transactions.
    • Comply with EBARA safety policies, complete required safety training, and maintain a clean, safe work area that meets EBARA and customer standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
