Here’sthe Gist: 

You will lead the integration of next generation SiliconCarbide basedPower electronic products and technologies being introduced into ourstate of the artproduction facilities. This role willbe responsible fornewproduct life cycle frominitialsetup to product optimization and lastly yield improvements.You will work with R&D, Process Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure new products and technologies areoptimizedand characterized for both product performance and manufacturability. This role will alsoneedto perform process windowing using DOE,validatespecs, assess new productCpk, and compile a process manual for eachnew technologythat is introduced into Production.  

The Day-to-Day 

  • Responsible for new product andnew technologyintroduction – build plans working across the integration and process teams to achieve firstpass qualificationsuccess

  • Utilize your experience and knowledge infabprocessingtofully window new processes in development and understand tuning knobs.

  • Engage with the Process Engineering teams early to set them up for success by ensuring process knowledge issharedand process interactions are defined and documented.

  • Work closely withtheR&Dteamto assessmanufacturabilityofnew designspecsand integration.

  • Analyze data using sound statisticalmethodologyto drive process, efficiency, and quality improvements.

  • Establish relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving.

  • Responsible for documentation and training in the transfer of new processes to manufacturing includingcapacity planning,characterization work, OCAP’s, FMEA’s,and process control plans and limits. 

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in a semiconductor environment, specifically withindiffusion (vertical furnaces, RTP systems) and ion implantmodules

  • Understanding of semiconductor processes, integration,and equipment in Fabrication

  • Proficient in technical writing and presentations

  • Must be willing to work onsite in Marcy, NY 5 days per week.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$81,000.00 - $111,000.00
