Senior Account Executive, MHS Certification

Your Tasks

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue, sales growth, and increased market share within the assigned region for Medical Device certification services.

  • Expand existing customer accounts and proactively acquire new business opportunities across the certification portfolio, including ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, IVDR, CE Marking, and related regulatory programs.

  • Serve as a consultative partner to medical device and IVD manufacturers by positioning TÜV SÜD as a trusted certification body and long-term regulatory compliance partner.

  • Strengthen loyalty and retention of strategic accounts by coordinating certification program planning, audit cycles, and multi-country regulatory alignment in collaboration with certification managers and auditors.

  • Lead onboarding of new certification programs and complex regulatory engagements in partnership with operations and global technical teams.

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle including prospecting, qualification, quoting, negotiation, forecasting, and CRM documentation while conducting periodic business reviews to maintain strong customer relationships.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in natural sciences, engineering, regulatory affairs, medical technology, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience, ideally within certification, auditing, regulatory services, or medical device industries.

  • Experience selling ISO certification services (e.g., ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDR/IVDR) strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of medical device regulatory frameworks and quality management systems highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and consultative selling skills with the ability to engage quality, regulatory, engineering, and executive stakeholders.

Additional Information

  • The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $90,000 $137,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
