    Description

    Base Salary RangeStarts at $85000/yearly plus bonus (monthly and quarterly)Role DescriptionThe Senior Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Richland, WA, responsible for managing key customer accounts and overseeing strategic freight solutions. This position includes developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, understanding customer needs in the perishable goods sector, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring shipment performance, resolving service issues, preparing pricing proposals, and identifying opportunities to expand services within existing accounts. The Senior Account Manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, track account profitability, and provide regular reporting on performance metrics. This role requires proactive communication, frequent customer interaction, and a strong focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.QualificationsAccount management and client relationship skills, including experience managing key or strategic accounts and maintaining long-term partnerships.Logistics, transportation, or supply chain knowledge, preferably in refrigerated or perishable freight and multimode shipping across U.S. and Canadian markets.Sales and negotiation abilities, including developing proposals, negotiating rates and terms, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.Operational coordination and problem‑solving skills to work closely with dispatch, operations, and customer service teams to resolve shipment issues and improve processes.Analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with spreadsheets, CRM tools, and performance metrics to track revenue, margins, and service levels.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to customers and internal teams.Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple accounts, and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or related industries in a senior account management or similar role is highly beneficial.Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
