Senior Accountant OpportunityI'm currently partnered with the CFO of a billion-dollar manufacturing powerhouse located near Pleasant Prairie, IL. This industry leader is experiencing explosive growth, with a footprint in over 5 diverse industries and 16 entities under its umbrella. As part of this exciting expansion, the holding company is actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic accounting team! As the Senior Accountant, you will assist in consolidating the 16 entities that fall underneath the holding company's umbrella, while also being responsible for the accounting function of 2 of their smaller entities to support. This is the opportunity for you if you're looking to progress your career within a stable and established organization for the future!Job DescriptionSenior Accountant Responsibilities:Oversee the full accounting cycle for two smaller subsidiaries and play a key role in consolidating financials across 16 entities for reporting to executive leadership at the holding company.Manage full-cycle accounting and monthly close activities for two assigned entities.Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across 16 business units.Post journal entries and perform detailed account reconciliations across multiple ledgers.Analyze revenue, COGS, and inventory trends to support financial accuracy and decision-making.Prepare supporting schedules and statistical reports as part of internal and external reporting packages.Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate financial representation across entities.Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying efficiencies and implementing best practices.Support various ad hoc projects and reporting needs as requested by senior leadership.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
