Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Type: Full-Time, 3–4 Month Contract, with possibility of extension or direct hire
Work Hours: M-F, FT, 40 hours/week
Job Location: Covington, GA
Work Schedule: 100% on-site preferred, OR, hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 WFH) flexibility
Compensation: $40–$50/hr DOE

Requirements:

• 5+ years of GL Accounting experience
• AP and/or AR knowledge/experience
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables

Preferred:

• Manufacturing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Details

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations within an established organization. This role will focus on general ledger accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, and financial reporting while working closely with Finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
· Support monthly financial reporting and analysis
· Oversee AP processes and vendor payments
· Provide higher-level oversight of AR activities
· Assist with payroll-related accounting entries
· Prepare reports and analyze financial data
· Support accounting process and system improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of GL Accounting experience
• AP and/or AR knowledge/experience
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables

Preferred:

• Manufacturing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
