Client Overview:
Our client is a growing, privately held organization with a collaborative, team-oriented environment and a strong foundation built over the past decade. The company offers employees the opportunity to contribute to ongoing operational improvements and future growth initiatives. They are now looking for a Senior Accountant.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$80K - $85K

Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing core accounting functions, including overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes. This position is part of a restructuring effort within the accounting team and offers strong ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and business initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
  • Lead and manage monthly and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
  • Support inventory-related accounting activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial and operational projects.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and technical proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting.
  • Exposure to process improvements or system enhancements.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
