Our client has been in production since the early 1980's and since then has become part of a greater publicly traded organization. The team is gaining rapid growth through added resources and organic customer growth. Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant that is prepared to work hand in hand with the Director of Finance on the entire accounting & finance function. This role will provide you with the opportunity to own month-end close and support on financial forecasting and budgeting, within a growing organization.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinating/supporting month end close process with the Director of FinanceJournal entries, accruals prepaid schedules, account reconciliationsAssist with variance analysis for budget/forecastPreparing financial statements and management reporting packagesEnsure accurate and timely reporting for the corporate reporting requirements including SAP/BOFC reporting packagesSupport and prepare tax related reporting packages, CapEx reporting packagesHandle intercompany reconciliationsMaintain and develop process improvements for GL in support of the Director of FinanceSupport inventory accounting/reconciliations, cycle counts, inventory variances and partnering with operationsAd hoc treasury and commission responsibilitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industryERP tool experienceAbility to be a critical thinker and strong communicatorWhat's on OfferStrong compensation packageFamily-oriented environment with the backing of a strong parent companyStrong benefits packageFlexible hours
