Through its Performance Health portfolio of market leading products—including Thera-Band, Biofreeze, Bon Vital', Perform and Prossage brands—Hygenic is the number one provider of product solutions to physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, and massage therapists with strong and growing business extensions into consumer retail, International markets and a legacy specialty manufacturing business.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the monthly closing including preparation of journal entries, importing of transactions from source systems, and posting of ledgers.Prepares general ledger account reconciliationsReconciles and analyzes various general ledger accountsPrepares monthly and quarterly sales/use and medical tax returnsAssists with annual audit by preparing financial information and supporting schedulesMaintains effective internal controls for all assigned responsibilitiesApplies accounting policies and principles to properly record, report, and maintain financial dataCalculates rebate/co‑op paymentsAssists with special projects and analysis as requestedCompetencies / Experience / Education RequirementsBS degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experienceCertified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, or progress toward certification5‑7 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applications of accounting principlesAbility to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects and meet firm deadlinesAnalytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and results driven environment.Proactive and driven to succeedStrong proficiency in MS Office applications (primarily Excel and PowerPoint, Dynamics AX experience a plus)1+ to 2 years experience IDEAL CANDIDATE‑ CPA Track – Looking for career progression – Public accounting experience a plusAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
