We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and support the ongoing development of the Donlin Gold Project.Reporting to the Mine Controller, the Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the Company's financial operations through financial reporting, project accounting, cost analysis, month-end close activities, and continuous process improvement. This position works closely with Accounting, Supply Chain, and Operations personnel to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.What You'll DoPerform full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes.Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and project cost reports.Support project and cost accounting activities, including budget-to-actual reporting and variance analysis.Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure accurate processing of purchase orders, invoices, and cost allocations.Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy and compliance.Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation to meet audit and compliance requirements.Assist with fixed asset accounting, inventory accounting, cash management, and capitalization of project costs.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes, internal controls, and ERP systems.Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members.Participate in special projects, financial modeling, and ad hoc reporting and analysis.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience.Strong experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsCPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.Experience supporting audits and reviewing the work of junior accounting staff.Experience in mining, construction, engineering, energy, or other project‑based industrial environments.Experience with project accounting, capital cost tracking, and operational reporting.Why Join Donlin Gold?Opportunity to support one of the largest undeveloped gold projects in the world.Collaborative and team‑oriented work environment.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Meaningful work supporting the responsible advancement of a world‑class resource project.Additional InformationCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a post‑offer criminal background check and drug screening.#J-18808-Ljbffr
