OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for our Fortune 500 global manufacturing client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial data and trends, prepare financial reports for senior management, and assist with annual budgets and forecastsOversee account reconciliations and expense trackingLead month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including preparing journal entriesRespond timely to project leader communications and proactively research and resolve action items with a high sense of urgencyPerform other tasks and responsibilities to support financial statement close process, as needed QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical and/or Fortune 500 experience4+ years of corporate accounting experience preparing financial close deliverables at publicly traded organization requiredIntermediate and advanced accounting and financial reporting skills that include US GAAP requiredERP and Edge system experience preferred in Blackline and SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA)Public accounting experience strongly preferredSAP certifications preferredCPA license preferredExcellent oral, written, and overall communication skillsQualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
