    Description

    We are a small, well-established Public Accounting firm based in Fort Lauderdale immediately hiring an Auditor / Accountant!

    Our ideal candidate will be an ambitious go-getter with at least 3 years of Public Accounting experience focused on Audit.

    There is an opportunity for a clear Partner track with us, so we are seeking someone who will be with us for many years to come!


    Responsibilities:

    • Act as a key member of our team and primary point of contact for clients throughout audits and beyond to maintain positive relationships.
    • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multiple audit assignments for our clients within Not-for-Profit, Construction and many more industries.
    • Assist clients with other general accounting, tax, and consulting services as needed.


    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent a MUST.
    • 3-5+ years of PUBLIC accounting experience with a focus on Audit.
    • Tech-savvy with knowledge of MS Office, industry research tools and accounting software systems (such as QuickBooks, AdvanceFlow, UltraTax, etc.).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a high level of command and expertise as your clients Point of Contact.
    • a well-organized analytical thinker with proficiency in GAAP procedures and standards.


    Nice-to-Have:

    • CPA (licensed or candidate) and/or advanced accounting degree
    • Prior experience working with non-profit and/or Construction industry clients
