Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your main duties will include:

1. Preparing and consolidating financial statements
2. Analyzing and reconciling accounts
3. Conducting variance analysis and produce ad hoc reports
4. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal company policies
5. Assisting with annual audits
6. Streamlining and improving financial systems and processes
7. Providing financial analysis and forecasting
8. Supporting budgeting and reporting
9. Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
10. Collaborating with other departments and team members to support overall goals and objectives

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
3. CPA certification is highly desirable
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel
5. Strong experience in account reconciliation and financial statement preparation
6. Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
7. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
10. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
