We're partnering with a company seeking a Bilingual Senior Accountant to join a stable and growing organization. In this role, you'll play a key part in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and business decision support. You'll work closely with leadership, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help ensure the financial health of the organization.

What You'll DoFinancial Reporting & Month-End Close- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Support audit preparation and financial review processes
Accounting & Financial Analysis- Manage consolidated financial reporting and intercompany transactions
- Monitor project costs and maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends and opportunities
- Prepare reports and recommendations to support business decisions
Budgeting & Forecasting- Assist with annual budgeting and financial planning processes
- Develop forecasts and variance analyses
- Support department leaders with financial reporting and planning needs
- Provide insights to improve operational and financial performance
Tax & Compliance- Prepare and support various tax filings
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
- Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and reporting requirements
- Assist with process improvements and internal controls
Business Partnership- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership
- Communicate financial information in both English and Japanese
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives
- Serve as a trusted financial resource for management
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Required- Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)
Preferred- CPA designation
- Experience with tax compliance and audit support
- Experience in project accounting or WIP reporting environments
- Experience supporting multinational or bilingual business operations
