Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will take part in a variety of tasks including month-end close journal entries and reconciliations, internal and external business reporting, and special projects. Utilize your public accounting experience to support the finance and accounting operations and meet the demands of Phreesia\'s growing business. Challenge yourself by improving efficiency and automation of business processes- if you're looking for an opportunity to transform your accounting career in a dynamic and challenging environment, this role could be a perfect fit!What You'll Do:Accurately prepare, review, and post journal entries; perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial dataMaintain strict adherence to internal controls, company policies, and established accounting proceduresManage day-to-day activities related to general ledger accounting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial recordsCollaborate with the finance team to execute timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesAnalyze financial results and trends, providing insightful explanations and performance metrics to key stakeholders and business partnersCoordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit, ensuring timely delivery of documentation and responsesLead or contribute to special projects aimed at process optimization, automation, and implementation of accounting best practicesWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor\'s degree and CPA completed or in progress2+ years of public company experience or equivalent accounting firm (Big 4) experience working with public companiesStrong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules and requirementsWorking experience and knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirementsExperience with Excel to analyze financial data; experience with WorkDay preferredBase pay for US is $85,000 - $95,000, depending on qualifications.
