Senior Accountant

Location: Bristol, Indiana (Fully Onsite)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the accounting and finance team through ownership of the month-end close process, external audit coordination, account reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting activities. This is a fully onsite opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Lead and coordinate annual external audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors.
• 
  
• Support the full month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• 
  
• Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
• 
  
• Assist with physical inventory counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory accounting processes.

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 
  
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 
  
• Experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations.
• 
  
• Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• 
  
• Manufacturing, inventory, and external audit experience preferred.
