We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our robust manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our financial team, contributing significantly to the financial health of our organization. The role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a knack for numbers. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting and will be directly involved in financial auditing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the general ledger.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with approved external auditors.
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
  • Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
  • Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in the development of the strategic plan, annual budget, and forecasts.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget analysis and financial review for management team.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff.
  • Oversee the preparation of Corporate Finance reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and corporate finance.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
  • Proven experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and multiple deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
