Senior Accountant

Our client is at an exciting growth stage with a rapidly scaling portfolio of NNN-leased retail properties and an active development pipeline featuring national tenants. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a lean team and play a key role in building and maintaining the accounting infrastructure.

This is a high-impact position with direct exposure to the Chief Accounting Officer and ownership, offering strong visibility and the opportunity to contribute to process development in a growing platform.

The Role
The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, and assist with development and property-level financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management
• Prepare journal entries, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close
• Assist with construction accounting, including loan draw packages, budget tracking, and coordination with project teams
• Manage tenant billing, rent rolls, and support CAM reconciliations
• Contribute to cash reporting, process improvement, and documentation of procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in real estate, construction, or property management accounting
• Hands-on experience with AP, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Strong Excel and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with Yardi, CAM reconciliations, and construction accounting tools (e.g., Procore)
• CPA or CPA track
