Job Description
Role: Senior Accountant
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Chandler, AZ 85226
Setting: On Site
Pay: $85K - $95K+
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes; support external audits
- Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, P&L)
- Analyze expenses and support financial reporting with necessary adjustments
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure reliable financial data
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in general accounting, reconciliations, and close processes
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively across teams
