Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:



  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations; support month‑end and year‑end close

  • Ensure financial statements are accurate and aligned with GAAP standards

  • Handle revenue recognition activities and assist with internal financial reporting

  • Review and code corporate credit card transactions to the general ledger

  • Review and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements in line with company policy

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal control compliance

  • Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, efficiencies, and cost‑saving opportunities

  • Senior Accountant partners with the Controller on special projects and process improvements


Senior Accountant Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • 3–5 years of experience, ideally coming directly from public accounting

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and month‑end close processes

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems

  • Detail‑driven with strong analytical and communication abilities

  • Comfortable with occasional travel
