Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for fulfilling the client accounting, bookkeeping and reporting requirements of multiple small/mid-sized projects or a singular large project, including day-to-day interface with management, client and contractor personnel as well as manages staff level accountants. This role requires mid-level leadership, integrity, and technical expertise to ensure the firm delivers high-quality, timely, and value-driven services.Key Responsibilities Work closely with clients and partners to assist with daily/monthly accounting tasks, close process, and other accounting related tasks.Review monthly financial statements and related documents completed by other staff.Analyze data, create, and prepare monthly financial statements and supplemental reports assigned by partner or client.Improve processes related to all duties and responsibilities. Take a proactive approach on all accounting functions and processes.On/offboarding new clients.Develop, promote and enforce policies, procedures, and accountability metrics.Planning, organizing, and coordinating the year-end close process with internal and external auditors.Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.Ensure timely and accurate delivery and communication of financial deliverables.Streamline internal processes, identify, and implement appropriate technology.Qualifications CPA or equivalent experience in public accounting (5+ years preferred).Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Proficient communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping services.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Ramp.Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Experience in small to mid-sized accounting firms.Background in business coaching or advisory services.Familiarity with nonprofit and for-profit accounting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
