Experienced Accountant at a Senior Level able to assume lead responsibility for various accounting functions. Will perform hands-on functional duties, as well as, providing supervision to both accounting professional and clerical employees in a wide variety of accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will establish and maintain strong relationships with the Accounting Manager and CFO, as well as, personnel both within and outside the company as required. Interface with independent auditors and government compliance organizations (e.g., DCAA and DCMA) as required.

Lead Responsibility for critical accounting functions including:
Interacting With Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
Processing Information — Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
Other responsibilities:
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.
Experience Requirement: Three to five years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Proficient in Deltek Costpoint Accounting Software. Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices including Governmental and Defense Contracts, GAAP and federal and state financial and reporting regulations. Skilled in the use of computers in a Windows-based operating environment particularly Excel and Word applications.
In compliance with state and local laws, the salary range for this role is $90,000-$125,000. The range provided is a general guideline and good faith estimate representative of all experience levels but is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. TCOM considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s experience, education/training, key skills, internal equity, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
