Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• 
  
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• 
  
• Own key balance sheet accounts and proactively resolve reconciling items.
• 
  
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages.
• 
  
• Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to management.
• 
  
• Support revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 and SaaS-specific accounting requirements.
• 
  
• Partner with Sales Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate contract accounting and revenue reporting.
• 
  
• Assist with stock-based compensation accounting and related reporting requirements.
• 
  
• Support external audits, technical accounting projects, and compliance initiatives.
• 
  
• Contribute to system enhancements, automation efforts, and process improvement initiatives that improve scalability and efficiency.
• 
  
• Help strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• 
  
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting support, and ad hoc financial analysis projects.
• 
  
• Serve as a resource for junior accounting team members and assist with mentorship and training.
• 
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 
  
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• 
  
• Experience managing month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• 
  
• SaaS, software, technology, or recurring revenue business experience preferred.
• 
  
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards strongly preferred.
• 
  
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• 
  
• CPA designation or progress toward certification preferred.
• 
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• 
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving growth environment.
• 
  
• Experience with process improvement, automation, or systems implementations is a plus.

• Base Salary: $100,000-$115,000
