Collaborating Docs is a fast-growing healthcare services and technology company dedicated to supporting advanced practice clinicians (APCs), including nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs), by connecting them with collaborating physicians and providing ongoing operational and regulatory support. We currently have 27 teammates across 10 states and we are continuing to grow!About the Role We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join the finance team reporting to the Controller. The current team consists of the CFO, Controller, AR/AP Specialist, Payroll Specialist, and an outside accounting advisor who provides bookkeeping and controller services, as well as tax and audit support. This position is full-time remote. Eastern Time Zone is preferred.What You\u2019ll do: Execute Monthly Closing of Financial Books : Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.Drafting Technical Accounting Memos and Procedures : Prepare clear, well-supported technical accounting memos on complex transactions and develop standardized accounting policies and procedures.Prep and Maintenance of Well-Formatted Excel Schedules for Audit Support and Management : Build and maintain audit-ready schedules, rollforwards, reconciliations, and management reporting models with strong documentation and controls.Gusto Payroll Platform : Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, benefits deductions, tax filings, and compliance using the Gusto platform.Multi-Business Units Accounting and Management of Chart of Accounts : Manage accounting across multiple business units, maintaining a scalable record of accounts and ensuring consistency in reporting.Consolidation of Multiple Entities: Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple legal entities.AR/AP Management : Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, aging reviews, and cash flow optimization.What We're Looking for: CPA and Bachelor's degree required4+ years of total experience, including public accounting audit experience (national or regional firm) and corporate accounting experience at a growing company ($10M–$50M revenue, Experience with QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct preferredExceptional attention to detail with a systematic, process-driven approachGrowth-minded, hands-on leader who welcomes feedback, can both execute and delegateStrong technical accounting skills, including reviewing ASC/ASU guidance as neededCollaborative, professional, and kind communicator who works effectively with cross-functional partners and advisorsWhy Join us?
