Senior Accountant – Commercial Real Estate Firm in West Palm BeachA leading South Florida real estate development firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic project-based environment and wants direct exposure to large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects.In this role, you'll play a key part in the financial management of active development and construction projects, partnering closely with project teams, lenders, auditors, and senior leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and project accounting.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze general ledger activity, financial statements, and prepare accruals and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAPPrepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations and supporting workpapersManage monthly construction loan requisitions and lender reporting requirementsReview and code contractor and vendor invoices while monitoring project budgets and job costsCoordinate invoice approvals, funding requests, and vendor paymentsMaintain and analyze job cost reports to ensure project activity is accurately recordedAssist with annual audits and support external auditors with schedules and documentationPrepare financial reporting and provide timely information to ownership groups, lenders, and investment partnersSupport special projects and process improvement initiatives as neededRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in public accounting, construction, development, real estate, or project accounting environmentsStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with job costing, construction draws, loan requisitions, or development accounting is highly preferredStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment$95K - $110K base salary, dependent on experienceIf you are interested, please apply directly and email your resume to Cassidy Sullivan at csullivan@daleyaa.com!#J-18808-Ljbffr
