The environment is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and well suited to an individual who enjoys making a tangible impact within a growing organisation.Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to company ownership, the Senior Accountant will take ownership of the full accounting cycle while establishing scalable financial processes and controls. This role offers the opportunity to shape the accounting function within a growing construction environment.Lead all day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll oversight, and general ledger management.Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and oversee month-end and year-end close processes.Manage project accounting, job costing, construction billing, and revenue recognition activities across multiple projects.Develop, maintain, and improve Work-in-Progress reporting and project performance analysis.Monitor cash flow, produce forecasts, and support budgeting and financial planning initiatives.Implement accounting policies, internal controls, reporting structures, and best practices as accounting functions transition in-house.Serve as a trusted financial partner to leadership by providing analysis, recommendations, and operational insights.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
