Job DetailsJob Details:
We are on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced and growing team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to manage and oversee critical financial operations within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, generating Financial Reports, maintaining the General Ledger, handling intercompany transactions, and performing Account Reconciliation. This role demands a high level of organization, the ability to work under pressure, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations etc.
3. Prepare monthly financial reports, including monthly profit and loss, forecast vs. budget, and weekly cash flow.
4. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
5. Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
6. Handle intercompany transactions and ensure all balances are reconciled timely.
7. Perform account reconciliations regularly, resolve discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
8. Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
9. Collaborate with the finance team and other business units to enhance financial transparency and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
2. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
3. Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, General Ledger, Intercompany transactions, and Account Reconciliation.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting.
6. Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Automatic Data Processing (ADP).
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to direct and supervise.
