DescriptionAs a Senior Accountant in the Global Accounting group, you will play a central role in accounting operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Salesforce is looking for candidates with experience recording month-end close journal entries, evaluating transactions under US GAAP, executing controls, implementing process improvements, and preparing schedules to support financial reporting and the external audit. This role is primarily focused on, but not limited to, topics concerning compensation & benefits accounting.Exceptional candidates will be critical thinkers who take the initiative to problem solve and who welcome challenging projects and evolving priorities.The ExperienceExecute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports)Prepare consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analyses for management reportingProvide analysis of financial results to management (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)Perform internal control procedures and maintain compliance with SOXPartner with internal and external business partners (domestic and international) to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controlsDrive to continuously create efficiencies by identifying and implementing process improvements, automation, and AI toolsAd-hoc projects as necessaryYou're Our Person If...BA in Accounting Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
