The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting accounting operations and financial reporting for assigned markets and corporate cost centers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across payroll, commissions, billings, cash activity, and month‑end close. This role will be in office for 6 months and then move to a hybrid schedule.Technical & Accounting ResponsibilitiesExecute day‑to‑day accounting activities across markets and corporate functions, including billing, cash activity, payroll, allocations, and month‑end close support.Review, update, and maintain allocations, including posting entries and calculating retroactive adjustments.Coordinate and post cost center and HQ allocations across corporate departments.When applicable, coordinate and record earnest money deposit entries for pursuits.Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepaids, and other assigned accounts.When applicable, perform bank reconciliations for accounts within scope.When applicable, review expenditures for appropriate fixed asset classification and prepare depreciation and intangible amortization entries.Review and post intercompany related adjustments to ensure accurate reporting between market and HQ accounts.Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies.Review and post trial balance uploads for entities that are not integrated into the core ERP system.Perform consolidation and ensure intercompany balances are properly eliminated.Support the review of monthly financial statements and analyze significant month‑over‑month, year‑over‑year, and budget‑to‑actual variances.Perform other duties as assigned.Collaboration & Business PartnershipPartner with Admin Finance and FP&A to support variance analysis and financial reporting.Respond to financial and operational data requests from Finance and FP&A.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.4–6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate services, brokerage, or professional services environments.Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and accrual accounting.Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).Strong Excel and analytical skills.High attention to detail and financial accuracy.Strong organizational and deadline management skills.Ability to interpret financial data and identify variances.Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong ownership mentality.Effective communication and collaboration skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
