Description
Are you a CPA with hospital or healthcare accounting experience looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to support its Corporate Tax & Treasury team. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in healthcare finance, treasury operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate account balances.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries and support the monthly close process.
- Manage treasury activities, including cash reconciliations, cash management, and financial analysis.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while strengthening internal controls.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with annual operating and capital budgeting.
- Prepare audit workpapers and partner with internal and external auditors.
- Collaborate with financial institutions and executive leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and accounting efficiencies.

Qualifications
- Active U.S. CPA license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience (10+ years strongly preferred).
- Recent hospital or healthcare accounting experience is highly preferred.

Month-End Close
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Treasury & Cash Management
Financial Statement Preparation- Experience using PeopleSoft Financials, Lawson, or similar ERP systems.
