Senior Accountant

• Maintaining the general legers for the Company's 4 corporate subsidiaries including preparing the monthly closing entries for each entity and managing the underlying books and records.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages on a timely basis for the Company's corporate subsidiaries.
• Overseeing the annual statutory audits for our corporate subsidiaries and interacting directly with our third-party auditors.
• Preparing monthly out of pocket reimbursement reports in both local currency and USD.
• Independently managing the Corporate Amex expense reporting process for company employees and employee out of pocket requests submitted via Concur.
• Holding trainings on our expense allocation policy for the Firm's employees.
• Oversees and supervises accounts payable accountant including the entire accounts payable cycle.
• Performing a daily reconciliation of all bank accounts to the bank statement and reconciling to the general ledger.
• Overseeing the annual 1099-reporting process with our third-party service provider.
• Calculating monthly sales & use tax owed by the Company.
• Researching and analyzing expense variances.
• Demonstrating critical thinking and the ability to solve challenging, complex issues in a collaborative environment.
• Participating in Ad-hoc projects.

Minimum requirements for the Senior Accountant position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a finance function.
• Ability to work under pressure, question the norm, and meet required deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with and for a variety of colleagues with demonstrated success working in a team environment.
• Visible desire to learn and grow.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Concur (expense reporting).
• Advanced Excel Skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Allvue).
