Hybrid Schedule

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 + 5–10% Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Own the project draw process from start to finish, including preparing draw packages, managing invoices, coordinating lender and investor funding requests, and overseeing payment execution.
• 
  
• Perform full-cycle development accounting for multiple active commercial real estate and data center construction projects.
• 
  
• Track project costs, budgets, and capital expenditures while ensuring accurate project allocations.
• 
  
• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
• 
  
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure financial accuracy.
• 
  
• Review and process construction invoices while coordinating with internal project teams and external vendors.
• 
  
• Monitor project spending and assist with cash flow planning related to development activities.
• 
  
• Support accounting for land acquisitions, construction costs, and development-related transactions throughout the project lifecycle.
• 
  
• Assist with preparing financial reporting and schedules for lenders, investors, and internal leadership.
• 
  
• Partner closely with Controllers and project management teams to improve processes, maintain accurate project records, and support ongoing portfolio growth.
• 
  
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and help strengthen accounting procedures as the development portfolio continues to expand.

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 
  
• 2–3+ years of development accounting experience within commercial real estate, construction, industrial development, or another project-based environment.
• 
  
• Experience managing project draws is required; Yardi or similar real estate accounting software is highly preferred.
• 
  
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-focused environment.
