What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Own the month-end close process for assigned clients, including reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules that clients rely on to run their businesses
- Analyze financial performance, including budget vs. actuals and trend reporting, to highlight key insights
- Support cash flow planning and forecasting to help clients make informed financial decisions
- Collaborate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and strengthen relationships
- Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as the firm continues to grow
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 6-12 months, you will:
- Independently manage multiple client accounts with minimal oversight
- Deliver accurate, timely monthly financials and close cycles across your portfolio
- Build trusted relationships with clients who rely on you for responsive, reliable support
- Identify and implement improvements that streamline accounting processes or reporting quality
- Begin contributing insights that help clients better understand financial performance and planning
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or a client services environment
- Experience managing multiple entities or clients with competing deadlines
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) and strong Excel skills
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
