Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a well-established, multi-state manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Accountant based in Eugene, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a financially strong and growing company that is investing in the future of its accounting and finance function. As the organization continues to evolve, they are seeking an accounting professional who can contribute both technical accounting expertise and process improvement ideas while partnering closely with leadership. The Senior Accountant will work directly with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and CFO, providing exposure to a wide variety of accounting responsibilities, financial reporting, and special projects. This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact while helping strengthen accounting processes, reporting capabilities, and overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
  • Analyze financial results and investigate variances
  • Develop and maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation
  • Assist with process improvements, workflow enhancements, and internal controls
  • Support audit preparation and financial review activities
  • Participate in accounting system and reporting improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with departments throughout the organization to support business objectives
  • Provide cross-functional accounting support as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Associate degree with relevant accounting experience will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Audit experience strongly preferred
  • Public accounting professionals with audit experience are encouraged to apply
  • Manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or product-based industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience working within an ERP environment
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments
