Job Details

A growing infrastructure-focused company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and operational accounting. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where accounting partners closely with operations and leadership to drive business performance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills, experience managing reconciliations, and the ability to take ownership of key accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Support fixed asset accounting, project accounting, and capitalization activities
Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and compliance requirements
Partner cross-functionally with operations, project teams, and finance leadership to improve processes
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate in a growing organization

Preferred Experience:

Background in utilities, renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, or project-based accounting
Experience with fixed assets, cost accounting, or capital projects
CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
