Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant



  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions, as the Senior Accountant

  • Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness as the Senior Accountant

  • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets while supporting accurate financial reporting as the Senior Accountant

  • Assist with budget variance analysis and provide financial insights to leadership as the Senior Accountant

  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to process improvements, policies, and internal controls as the Senior Accountant



Qualifications for the Senior Accountant



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • 3+ years of public accounting experience or 6+ years of general ledger accounting experience

  • CPA is a plus; construction accounting or job costing experience preferred
